THE GLASS GALLERY
In short, its nice art, displayed in a nice new gallery with a nice backdrop to promote a peaceful pace amongst the backdrop of a stressed corporate city in Manchester.
It is a calming space which brings the external landscape, trees, calming canals, (and hopefully not the rain) inside for reflection amongst a not so calming world. Designed as a wellbeing space for observation, The Glass Gallery will pop up around Manchester to showcase not only my works, but also highlight pockets of beauty within the city of Manchester.
WHAT IS IT?
A modular pop up gallery space built out of glass blocks with self designed bespoke bracketry. Paintings and prints are for sale with percentage of proceeds helping fabulous wellbeing charities. See CHARITY

CALMING WATER GLASS BLOCKS?
WATER = CALM
Water calms the mind and helps me to Slow Down. You don’t need to read a peer reviewed study to confirm this. Its just relaxing.
The Glass Gallery utilises “Waves Glass Blocks” (See below) to cast wave like reflections on the ground that moves with the sun and the trees. The effect is very similar to the calming lapping waves or ripples on a lake which is why we chose these blocks for the facade.
